after i did this i plugged my iphone into itunes, and it says set up as new phone or restore from backup, i want to use a different network so would i be ok to set it up as a new phone or will it ask me to put the correct simcard in ?

tanks 4 the help, cnt believe i was so stupid i aint new at this stuf either had an ifone from near abouts day 1 but givin it away to family as i got a free upgrade to the 3g and ive not unlocked one b4 ive jailbrokn many a tym and on numerous touches jus nevr unlockd but anyways thanks 4 the help, and im not from america im english so we hav o2 not att and yerr i managd to get the fone on pay as u go, dno what u call it over ther but u top up the fone and dont hav a bill at the end of the month

You have a point, the iPhone 4g will have some nice upgrades, the only thing dissapointing is that the screen is smaller.

Alot of people watchin' this vid won't be able to afford new iPhone, it's just going to cost so much
