  • wonderful thank you!

  • @fredericfranc There are three B's involved,. Bach, Busoni and Brahms. The original is "best" because it is the original, but when rewriting the chaconne for piano I think tou have to utilize the possibilities of the instrument, just like JSB tok violin playing to he max for his time. And to me there is no doubt: Busoni makes it a great piano piece; Brahms has too much reverence for the original (but it is beautiful music).

  • where can I find a free sheet music for this piece??????

  • This may be shaky logic, but, Monsieur Ravel works on two concertos at once, the one for how many hands comes out better? Of the two Monsieurs B involved here, like which one is better in figuring how many hands you need for what? Brahms cranked stuff for all kinds of numbers of hands habitually. He has such great looks in this photograph like he is a real idividualistic American from Cleveland.Should have watched his diet more.
