"The doctor said that we were lucky Nick survived. If you didn't bring the pod in time, then.."
She choked on the words and burst into tears. Mr Jonas had to fill in for her.
"She means he would've died" then he was crying as well.
The words hit me like a knife. I stared at them in shock. Then Mrs Jonas flung her arms around me again saying "thank you, thank you so much"
"it's ok" I managed to say. "He'll be ok right?"
"yes. Of course he will, he's a strong boy. He'll be fine." She looked over at the room he was in.
Suddenly Joe joined in the hug and Kevin soon later.
"Are we allowed to see him?" Kevin asked.
"yes. Two people at a time." Mr Jonas answered.
Joe and I went first, but before we did he pulled me into a corner and gave me a quick peck on the lips.
"You saved my brother" he said. "thank you"
I smiled and we entered Nick's warden. He was asleep on the bed. We sat down next to him. Tears filled my eyes, I couldn't believe how close he was to dying. I started to think of what would've happened if we lost him.
"Nick?" Joe obviously wanted him awake. Well... I did too.
Nick slowly opened his eyes. He saw us and smiled.
"How are you feeling?" I asked him.
"Much better" he looked well too.
"Mum says I'll be much better soon. And I'm hoping I'll be back to rock the road again" he smiled at Joe.
"Don't worry Nick, you get your rest, you have plenty of time"
"Hey! What happened to the concert?" Nick seemed alarmed now. Joe put his hand on his shoulder.
"Don't worry buddy. Johnny has everything under control."
Nick went calm again.
"I'll be right back" Joe walked out of the room. I guess it hurt to see his brother in a hospital bed.
"Hey Sam thanks so much for bring back my pod. I don't know how I could've forgotten it."
"yeah me neither."
I gave him a kiss on his forehead and went out. Mum and Dad had arrived with Frankie. As soon as they walked in, Kevin took Frankie to go see Nick.
The next day came slowly and Nick was discharged to go back home.
He wanted to start the concert that day but none of us will allow it.
He rested in a hotel. He looked a lot better, and he felt better too. He recovered fast, even the doctors were amazed. Well what can I say? He has a gift.
Joe and I spent alot of time together. We made the most of the time we had. The boys had booked their concert for the next day, and straight after that, they would go back home. I so badly wished they would be able to stay. I wanted to do something for Joe before they left. I thought long and hard at our hotel. Suddenly a bright idea came to me. I grinned and couldn't wait to do it. The next day, the guys were getting ready for their concert. Nick was now 100% better and he couldn't wait to rock the stage. He had rested long enough.
It was 5 and we were backstage at their concert. They got their stuff ready and we could hear the fans chanting "Jonas! Jonas! Jonas!"
I gave Joe a kiss before he went on stage. They started off with Got Me Going Crazy because Joe knew it was my favourite. Nick had so much energy saved up that we were scared if he broke something or got hurt. Half way through, I went around to where the electrical manager was.
His name was Max.
"Hey, what are you doing here?"
"Hey Max, actually I was wondering if you could do me a favour?"
I told Max my plan and got ready next to the stage to start it. The guys had just finished Tonight and were about to speak when Max turned off all the power. The whole stadium went pitch black and then there was one focused spotlight on Joe. I began singing from behind the stage with the mic Max gave me.
"Do you still remember how we used to be

I walked on stage still singing. Nick and Kevin were smiling from ear-to-ear. I walked over to Joe. I couldn't believe I was doing this. But this was my way of saying goodbye.
Our hands entwined and I had finished the song. Joe gave me a quick kiss on my cheek. I smiled and looked towards the audience....and froze. OMG, I thought, I sang in front of that many people?
"Well now that you're here" Joe started. "You can help us out." He turned to the audience. "What do you guys think?"
A roar of cheer and excitement erupted from the audience.

yaaaaaaaay nicks better. thats good. lol when it says 100% better i thought it was going to say 100% juice like from the mtv live and mobile. at the begining i kinda fuond it funny im sorry but i did cause like joe like i dont know but it was funny. not in a mean way though. AHHH Hasta mannan!!!! I remember that from spanish that was my favorite word manna manana manana! oh.snap ? is that one of those cliff hangers or whatever.aaaaaaaaaaaaaaw okey dokey well i liked your story!!!!!!!!!
