Started this back in January.
Brooke's known Damon for a long while and she thought that they would be together. She fell in love with him but soon Damon went after her friend Jessie. Brooke is upset that they're together but after Damon and Jessie start going out, she doesn't care what Damon thinks anymore, even though he tells her he wants her to be safe and that he cares about her, she just blows him off.
Alec is Brooke's friend who she met around the same time as Damon. Brooke never saw him that way because she was always after Damon but when Damon and Jessie start going out, Brooke vents and cries to him. Alec always put up with Brooke complaining and talking about Damon to him, but after a while, he gets tired of it and leaves. Brooke is upset and realizes that though she and Damon will never work, she still has a chance with Alec.
Brooke tells Damon that she is done with his games and when Alec comes back, Brooke tells him of her feelings and they get together.
Such a happy happy ending. :)
