  • The pinto rig is a very good and very isoled pulley. There is too much friction around the tree branch and rope on rope (prussik and eye's rope). The recup is harder than the ART rope guide. The recup piece is a very hard bug ! Difficult to clip any rope for your fingers and limit impossible for a fat rope like Hi-vee 13 mm. Then the sewing terminal is to longer and raider. The video is aviable for the goods working situations but it become very much difficult in works conditions.

  • @ARBORIAelagage Thanks for the comment. The retrieval snap is designed so that you must twist the rope while pulling the gate closed. This tight tolerance ensures that the rope will never come out of the snap accidentally. I use Tachyon and Safety Blue (13mm) with no problems. There will always come a time when pulleySAVER or Rope Guide are difficult to retrieve. Attaching throwline in soft eye is the most reliable way to retrieve and also keep a clear route to the ground when possible.

  • @ARBORIAelagage I have been using pulleySAVER for 12 months. Pruning, felling, seed collecting, cone picking, big trees, small trees. Rain, snow, ice, mud, hot, cold. pulleySAVER is the most versatile friction saver I have ever used. Please don't give up on it! Keep using your pulleySAVER and I'm confident it will become your favorite, too.

  • Great vid top notch info. Had my PS for abt a week now and it soooo sweet. One question. The anchor ring with eye , is that a homemade or does teuf sell it as an accessory? Was thinking of using a rigid foot strap via girth on an anchor ring.Any thoughts?

  • @roland569 Not certain as to what the future will be as an accessory. As long as what you use has adequate strength, is configured properly, and does not compromise the integrity of the pulleySAVER itself; you're probably OK.

  • No, the pulleySAVER cannot be installed from the ground. Yes, it can be retrieved from the ground.
