@strygvar get the x540, the x540 bass has more bass than the z506. and x540 has better sound quality :D

@MrTpengineer the only difference i think is the x540 has a downfiring sub, wired controls with the volume, bass knob and the "matrix" button, the x530 has placed the sub on the side and the bass knob on the sub box then the volume and power button is on the right speaker, and you need to connect the 5.1 to 2.1 adapter included just to run the 5.1 speaker "if you dont have a 5.1 soundcard" but all drivers and subs are disame :)

hello my name is joseph and i have the same x-540 and i also felt it was missing the bass and i look at the specs and it can power at 75 watts max at 4ohm so i got a 10 inch sub from a car for 10 buck and i had a old sub box and wow it was what was missing all you have to do is unscrew the sub and just run the line from there to the new sub you will love the bas it gives out

What's weird is the x-530 and x-540 are nearly identical as far as specs, just different casing.
