Misha "Bulb" Mansoor test-drives Decibel Javelin Proto1

Prior to their Nov. 17 Toronto show, i brought Proto1 down to the venue for Misha to try out. It was set up to his specs, and he asked if he could play it during the show. How could i say no? This was a quick clip shot during soundcheck, with some initial impressions.

@Frygisk It is, indeed. Each of the guys also has an Atomic wedge that they use for supplementary on-stage monitoring if the venue's monitors aren't up to snuff.

Their sound guy has been doing a phenomenal job on the FOH mix. Getting three guitars + bass + vocals + backing tracks to sound that good is a huge challenge, and they sounded awesome.

what pickups did you guys choose to put into this Javelin? you mentioned that it was a low output pickup? which bareknuckle is it?

I got to see him perform with periphery in london feb 11. their sound guy is my new hero, seriously. best live sound i have ever heard!

was sitting 2 hours in front of the computer to emulate mishas clean sound in amplitube/guitar rig and failed... any comments? aside from delays he uses resonators/choruses i guess.

Oh my god... did anyone else notice that spacey effect on the clean tone?

That's amazing. My next quest is to buy an Axefx
