Cave Story, How to kill Monster X

After a small argument and hearing a couple of people struggled on monster X I recorded myself trying different ways and put the best way to kill him _for me_ on this. It's also 3 HP friendly, I've done it this way.

Edit: I've added two words here to make some people shut up, I don't care if there's a 'better' way. Truth be told, I don't even use this method any more, but it works, and it is safe, if someone struggles with 3HP, they can use it.

This is not a very good solution - you keep getting hit. I'm trying to find a way to do it without ever getting hit because I'm trying to get through the game without picking up a single life capsule. I've already succeeded in this but I had missiles last time. This time I'm doing it without missiles.

In reply to this, even though there are better ways albeit riskier, I am going to stick by the fact when I did my first run without picking up 3HP capsules this method regarding playing defensively with the sword worked fine, you're robably doing it wrong.

Wow, that technique sucks.

I used the Star/Machine gun on form 1 (since you pretty much wreck anything that comes along at you) standing directly below. Form 2 I use Blade2 and killed him in about two passes.

woh. maxed blade is awesome. screw nemesis. i want to keep this weapon. Ghost Swordsman Summoning vs weakens with higher levels, and levels every 1 exp. Blade wins.
