@FashionRawkz 3:50 - "Tvyordiy znak" ("firm sign") separates the word apart, example "подъезд" ("porch") with tvyordiy znak will be pronounced as "pod-ezd" and without tvyordiy znak as "po-dezd" (and that's not right).

"Myagkiy znak" ("soft sign") makes the letters sound softer and sometimes uses only in writing. "Mouse" means "мышь" ("myish", "mouse"), but even with or without "myagkiy znak" pronunciation will be the same.
