Read the article: http://www.sandiego.com/articles/2011-12-08/san-diego-zoo-giant-panda-yun-zi-... This morning, giant pandas Bai Yun and her two-year-old son, the local star Yun Zi, received a layer of snow courtesy of the San Diego Zoo. For Yun Zi, this was his first time seeing snow and as you can tell from the video, he was definitely intrigued. Zoo horticulture staff constructed a Christmas tree from two types of bamboo (oldhamii and vivax) and added snacks as ornaments, utilizing an ice block as the tree stand.

@Yepprd Pandas eat about 98% bamboo so... not so sure about the whole human food source. :D haha

I was going to say jokingly in typical YouTube comment humor that it would probably save the zoo money on salary costs, food costs to the pandas, and employee benefits costs to toss the Senior Panda Keeper over into the panda's area and let it eat her..but she does seem pretty nice and I don't know her outside of this video and pandas may not like humans as food, so I'll just say more politely Have a Happy White Christmas, Bai Yun and I hope you enjoyed the snow!
