years ago, I lived in one of the little houses under the trees to the right side of this video, and spent many childhood hours crossing those tracks to the little store and post office from where you shot this video. THANK YOU!!

This is an SD40M-2. This unit was rebuilt by Morrison Knudson in the mid 1990's. MK Rebuilt SD45's,SDP45's, and SD40's into SD40-2 standards for the SP. None of these units were owned by the SP prior to being rebuilt.

Really, I dont care much if it's the modern stuff, but when it gets to things like Rock Island, or other railroads from the 70's and 80's that aren't around anymore, then it just gets to be a little insulting
