Homosexuality would not be labeled as sexual abuse because pedophilia is and homosexuality is not a fetish. What the hell are you talking about. I see why you are called salt in the head.

The most appalling part of this video is that this retard was "a judge." He thinks that we don't need hate crimes because murder is already a crime. He thinks that hitting someone with a handbag who is molesting you would protect the molester. Tell me this guy was really not a judge. Not even traffic court judges could be this retarded.

I'm gay and I agree with him, to a point, assuming what he says is correct. It makes no sense to punish simple pushing or smacking someone with a handbag as a hate crime. It's also troublesome that specific fetishes and pedophilia would be protected.

Where I disagree with him is that gays are at an increased risk and do need stronger protection to help deter physical violence based on sexual orientation. I've never heard of anyone being assaulted of killed because he was straight.

But imagine if someone was hitting you for being gay, even lightly. Just minor cuts and bruises. The fear is there.

What gets me is pedophilia may be wrong, but I do not wish to control a person's mind. No one may act on impure thought like that, but to physically harm someone for having the idea is ideologically wrong. Fetishes as well: A foot fetish, for instance, or a cross dressing fetish, hurts absolutely no one. To cause harm to someone because of this is wrong.

If someone was punished for a hate crime for hitting me lightly, that would be a testimonial to how stupid judges can be.

Pedophilia is a fetish, not an orientation. You can't know or control someone's thoughts, but if someone sexually abused a child of mine I'd be apt to do them great physical harm.

Also I don't think anyone is getting assaulted for liking feet. :)

I think you're wrong. People get assaulted for being gay, why would people not be assaulted for any unusual view?

And I agree with you, if someone abused a child I would do them great physical harm. It's different when a man actually acts on the fetish.

He's wrong. Hitting the assaulter with her purse would be self defense and therfor legal. Furthermore, if someone said to you "Get out Faggot" and then proceeded to hit you, that would be a hate crime. Hard or not it's a threat to hurt
