A remake of Canon in D in Cubase SX 3, which was originally composed by Johann Pachelbel. I only used Miroslav Philharmonik and the Groove Agent 2. It took about 8-10 hours. Have fun with it. Please rate, comment and subscribe.Thank you. :)

P.S.: This was inspired by Youtube user Ethanace. So take a look at his version of the song. ;)

  • That crash cymbals at 0:37 startled me hah, it got too loud out of a sudden from the soft cello and violin. I personally think that the transition from note to note on the cello is too strong--it's not smooth, but thats just me haha. Good work! :)

  • @ThomasVoMusic thats true.. those crash cymbals are too loud in the mix during the whole track.. not only in the begining

  • man how works this program? where do you create this awesome piece? tell me please, i want to know...

  • REMOVE DEM CYMBALS :)

  • I dont like the cymbals, the rest is epic :D

  • Great work. Philharmonik has a lot of great sounds.

  • Hi VectraOPC87, I'll now be using Miroslav and The Grand to compose some music as well. My music composition channel was shut down because I also had remixes on there, but I'll be sure to upload original content to my current channel.

I'll keep you posted, thanks for introducing me to this software!

  • @ThomasVoMusic A little work on the attack would probably fix this, plus, if he had several of each instrument playing slightly out of time with each other, they would blend a little better. It's just down to really knowing how things sound and are played on stage, but his work is really good even without this little aesthetic tweeks.

  • Very nice!:)

  • I've installed Miroslav Philharmonik but Cubase isn't seeing it.

In Cubase, I've added the path in which the instruments to the VST 2.x list and updated the its VST Plug-Ins. But when I press F11 and click on no instrument, Miroslav Philharmonik isn't shown.

Couild you please advise how I can fix this? If you can I'd be extremely thankful.

  • How easy was it to use the Miroslav Philharmonik? I'm think of buying it to enhance my compositions in Cubase Artist 6...
