A video project about World War II in the Philippine Islands. A fictional story recounted by a little Filipino girl (Jessie Warrick) about living during WWII and the occupation by Japan and the USA. My brother's project, I edited it.

  • my neighbour is from the philipines, and i've known him and his mother since he was wearing diapers, and through the years i've known him and his family i have learned alot about philipine traditions, such as food and holidays, and i am absolutely astounded at the great things i have seen and learned, if just half the world knew all the good things i have to actually share about the filipino's...i doubt everyone would help to make the philipines prosper tenfold...my heart is with you all!

  • @kornek21 the one girl in the project is half filipino, we used her family knowledge for the project so i hope we represented them well!!! cheers!

  • Good video! Nice to see the younger generation interested in history. There is a lot of bitterness towards the Japanese from older Filipinos. But there is also bitterness towards the US.

  • @halashet what you describe is true. There are estimates of hundreds of thousands of deaths during the war with the US, perhaps a million. This did happen, sad to say.

  • @CSATexan i bet you are really old, i apologise for my manners, i ought to respect elders..gud bye..

  • @halashet

Let me ask you a question that has nothing to do with everything you have posted so far. Your profile says you are into horror and psychological thriller movies

Did you ever see a movie called Super Magic. It was in the theaters during 1989 (before you where born) It wasn't so much Filipino i looked Japanese. so the name was probably changed

  • @CSATexan ever heard of the balangiga massacre.. americans practically left the island of samar 0 population.. they killed innocent civilians, men women and children plus babies, and it was racially motivated.. i read somewhere that a particular american soldier quoted "killing filipinos is a nigger killing business". and this genocide by the americans was not only confined in samar but in the whole philippines. u wouldnt know anything about this bcos your not fil..arguing with u s pointless..

  • @halashet

Starting with you original post of

"americans did far more atrocities towards the filipinos,"

  • @CSATexan o yeah, like what?

  • @halashet

You have been distorting the truth for the past two weeks on this video

  • @CSATexan distort the truth?? guess who's been distorting the truth for a long time,..
