The HK-Drone V1

I wanted to make a VTOL craft that had articulating thrusters and did not use anything other than thruster strength and thruster angle to keep it aloft, stable, and maneuverable. This uses 3 regular wire thrusters and E2. The only physical thing that E2 does is applyAngForce to rotate the thrusters (which have been done with hydraulics by other people). The Drone has an auto-stablization system that makes it fun and easy to fly.

The HK-Drone was originally from Terminator 3.

I plan to upgrade the cosmetics to match the movie. I will also add weapons, and would like to make it text controlled auto-anti-minge bot. I will need serious help to add that feature though, so anyone that is good with E2 and has experience making text controlled anti-minge bots, please help.

In the context of Terminator HK stands for Hunter Killer. But I am aware of the firearms company, in fact I am a fan of their new H&K416. Heckler & Koch usually has the ampersand symbol in H&K too.

I've had those brakes like 3 times the last 2 years, I recently came back for a new session tho ;)

About the craft, Don't make it overly complicated (I tend to, And it rarely works out the way I want it :P)

And a question now that we're in touch, The code for the drone, Is there any way to make it work properly with a bigger vtol? I've tried several times but either its unnessecerily hard to balance it or it crashes when you turn :/

I always make all of my stuff extra complicated. The more stuff I can add the better.

As for the bigger VTOL. Have you seen my HK-Aerial? Its freaking HUGE. But from my experience making this style of VTOL, you have to remake it every time, there is no taking the expression from your first version and puting on your bigger/better/badder one (unless physically it is the EXACT same).

Reason is the weight distribution and balance is thrown off differently every time depending on design.

You mean the E2 for the drone is made specifically for the design its spawned with and if I want to use it on my own design I have to modify it? Like the thruster strenght or something? (Changing the thruster multiplier didnt really work, It made it jumpy or even more unbalanced)

Then theres the speed, Its horribly slow :p

@SuperNixen I don't even think modifying the same chip will really work too well. While the basic functions of the code still apply, all of the constants/variables will be different. My HK-Aerial is lightning fast. It can push the gmod speed limit. I actually use a completely different code, it is a whole new system (way more ops too). The character count is too low for me to explain it, but it is REALLY stable and REALLY fast, and has the potential to do barrel rolls, (still working on it)

For some reason, my E2's screen isn't the rotating gears, and after I spawn it it says'Loading Extensions,please try again in a few seconds' Then if I do even look at the E2, It says the name, then under that it says none and it is colored red. Any way I might be able to fix it?
