Nice to see XH558 come home again today as she flew into (ex) RAF Finningley
Here's hoping the proposed visitor attraction here for her becomes a reality.
A unique aircraft with a unique sound and history.

Thank you for bringing back some wonderful memories! My dad used to work on and service these magnificent aircraft when he worked at Woodford aerodrome in Cheshire. He would regale me with some wonderful tales of his experience of the Vulcan, right down to when he actually taxied one on the airfield apron.
Once again, thank you, I have, once again seen this beautiful sight fly, as it did over our house, and my school every day many years ago. Such beautiful, sentimental memories.
