  • laser thermometer take surface temperture your whole video and class is totally wrong lol im an HVAC mechanic and theres nothing i love more then watching an amateur try to put us down not knowing anything

  • I am always open to learning different ideas and ways. Apparently you are a person who has a difference of opinion and I would like to hear and see your way of doing AC testing. Are you going to tell me taking the Delta T at the supply plenum is an accurate way to see if the entire HVAC system is operating as intended? What about the ducts? Please expand...

  • Once again, people choose to use small differences to try and make themselves look smart. I used the wrong term, yes. He is 100% correct. I like in SW FLORIDA. We do not have HEAT PUMPS, thats all they are is COMPRESSORS and HEAT STRIPS. We do not NEED SUPER HEAT. I LIVE IN SOUTH FLORIDA. But then again, I do not make my living taking advantage of people, your correct. Besides the word discrepency. Whats wrong with my process to make a check of the temperature differential?

  • This guy in the dumbest man on YOU TUBE... To sit there in judgement of 99.9% of all HVAC contractors when you are a home inspector makes me laugh very hard.... Ever heard of Superheat?

He calls the outside unit a COMPRESSOR twice ( this makes him a double idiot)...Sorry Mr Inspector but that ubit is called the Condenser...google it smarty pants)...The compressor is a part installed inside the condenser, but he knows everything thats why he is "home inspector"...

    THIS GUY IS A FRAUD!!!!!!!!

  • To paint all of us with the same broad stroke of your ill-informed brush would be much akin to me saying home inspectors are just self-styled entrepreneurs who are afraid of real work and have failed at everything else they've tried and that any homeowner with the gumption and some common sense could do what they do.

  • My years in the HVAC industry in southwest florida have shown me that for every unlicensed hack with a pickup truck and a magnetic sign out there, there are 10 honest business owners who believe they should do the right thing for the customer and provide the best service possible.

  • The en masse de-unionization of the building trades put into motion by "right to work" legislation in Florida has driven wages and trade-related education down, bringing the quality of the work produced down with it. The consumer's end cost has not changed much.

  • I also understand building code officials with improper interpretations of the mechanical code, and those who just don't enforce any of it at all.

I understand "value engineering", when substandard materials and techniques are used as a substitute for the more expensive alternative.

  • I make a lot of money cleaning up the messes that unscrupulous contractors create. I understand all too well what goes on out there. I also understand cheap customers, and people who insist on doing it themselves, and people who believe they can do it better than the licensed professional.
