I like this concept. If you take Albert Einstein, for example, and look at his genetic contribution, it would probably be no more significant than the average person. But, if you look at his memetic contribution, he has left a clear mark on human progress and knowledge. In today's world, the genetic mark left by someone pales in comparison to the memetic mark. Memes are significantly more important than genes.
