BMW E46 Carpc project where original widescreen bordmonitor was used but all hardware was replaced. New Sony 6.5" lcd was installed and behind the screen you can find Western Digital WDTV 1st generation with custom firmware and OSD. Everything was put together to have original look but custom functionality. Monitor was wired together with BMW radio which is now in passenger box.

You can see the remote control in a first few seconds of the video. Only some of the buttons on monitor are working - volume knob (on/off radio), mode button and the one on the top which is used for powering of the lcd and wdtv.
