Actually, none of the members on the attack were killed, it was Seal Team 6 but not them.

Put it this way, the Arabs had no chance without US support. Just because they had money, means nothing. How about experience, training, artillery, weapons, tanks, planes, helicopters and morale. These are the things that win wars, not Arabs. People who shoot rockets in bath robes & sandals will never win a war.

Get your facts straight, posting incorrect information. The main problem was the Arab fighters were unable to combat the aerial attaks that were responsible for over %50 of their deaths. Afganistan was unable to defeat Russia(SU) hellicopter fleet. Only untill the US provided the Mujahideen with Stinger anti-air rockets to fight off the helicopters. Only after the Arab regime was able to deal with the aerial attack, were they able to successfully win the war (with Americas help).
