Getting tired of watching the amount of money that was pouring into Asia, after the tsunami, and not seeing ANY results on how that money was actually helping... Eric Klein, got fed up and took over $100,000 of his own money and put it where his mouth was, by traveling to Sri Lanka to help rebuild the coastline of Galle and see what type of assistance was there...he later traveled to the Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina where he and his organization/network is still working.
Since, Eric has founded the organization CAN-DO.org, (Compassion into Action Network-Direct Outcome Organization), http://www.can-do.org/ an organization which provides AID and relief in emergency situations. After Hurricane Katrina, he and his organization were given access by the DHS to enter some of the hardest hit areas in the gulf coast. Eric and his organization has spent close to a year in the gulf bringing AID to thousands. CAN-DO is now being recognized by governments as well as the private sector as an organization that people can trust will get the job done. Eric's philosophy is simple, "show the results and don't get caught up in the BS".
CAN-DO has several "realistic" projects and they could use your help. The CAN-DO Network continues to work in the gulf coast and are scheduled to return to Africa on February 1st 2008. Please check out http://www.can-do.org/ and make a donation to help these guys do what they do!

Excellent video! Truely inspirational. Too right international charities need to be brought to account about the wastage of money. How can they justify £6000 for a water well, when non profit organisation can do the same well for £250. may god bless with the health to carry out this work. Thank-you.

if there were more people in the world that showed this kind of compassion and initiative, the world would be in better condition.
