@Flattsgurl1 Mayberry was the fictional setting of The Andy Griffith Show that ran from 1960 to 1968. Although the show was filmed in California, Mount Airy-North Carolina (the town Andy Griffith grew up in) is commonly referred to as "Mayberry." On a few episodes Andy suggested to Barney that they go get a bite to eat at the Snappy Lunch, which is a well known restaurant in Mount Airy. Andy also mentioned "Mount Pilot" in one episode which is an actual mountain located in Surry county, NC.
