How to activate lifetime maps in the Garmin Nuvi LMT series with GPS City

Garmin now includes life time map updates pre-activated with select nuvi GPS models. To use the free lifetime map subscription, all you need to do is register your unit and download the update.

@IvPortaHacks When purchasing a unit just make sure that it has LM or LMT in the unit name and you too can get Lifetime map updates. If your unit does not come with LM or LMT you can always purchase the lifetime update separately.
