This song is awesome.

I think this speed is just perfect.

One of the best versions I've heard of the last piece of this sick genius.

I think the great man would have been proud of thi sperformance!

Sorry - don't want to be pedantic, but ThatOnePivoter - a song has lyrics... And as for comment about volume fluctuations... I think you'll find that's called 'interpretation'. But I agree it's too fast. It's marked "allegretto ma non troppo".... Otherwise, beautifully played!

Best performance I've ever heard! Five stars!

I love this song, but really, this version fluctuates volume too much and sounds too fast. Other than that, it's pretty good!

My theory: Mr. Joplin named this one the "Magnetic Rag" because whenever he played it, it had a magnetic effect on people, drawing them closer to the piano so they could better hear this truly awesome piece!
I play Magnetic Rag for all the broken dreams and shattered hopes I've ever had. For every single failure and bad turn-about. I play it for every sorrow, and every teardrop, and all the melancholy experienced and all the pain suffered to this day. Despite all that, nothing changes, and the motif, or theme tends to reoccur. Perhaps it was all just in vain. That's the mood of this rag.

@FrosDOwnz Thank you, kindly, for your insightful comment. I'm not sure I completely agree with your assesment, but there really isn't a right or wrong with those kinds of things.
