Well spoken my Scottish friend @_@

Never had the chance to play Killzone games, but the "lore" of the game is very interesting. I'm kind of surprised that the game hasn't been ripped apart by western media for being sympathetic towards the WW2 Germans. It's also a very bold move from the developers.
But then again, the message is rather subtle. At least for people who haven't got a clue. To the average capitalist schmuck this looks like just another "mindless shooter".

@crocve And the Modernwarfare series is awsome. I´m not going to play it just because it somehow "a propaganda" against my personal believes. I´m against marxism-leninism and any form of marxism, but in the COD games about World WarII, I play as the soviets with no problem.

@xeno210 yeah I know. One day, might just do a general rant at how fucking retarded those games are. Hard to do anything analytical with it other than just say its a piece of shit.
Is it strange that you do a comparison between the plot of Killzone with the situation in Libya and a comparison of Visari with Bin Laden, when the games were launched before those occurances.
And another thing. What you meant by the end of the video? That the people should do nothing and continue to be opressed by its dictactors?
Me the "evil" capitalist and defender of democracy says that soviet-style socialism didn´t worked and it´s opressive. (now lets see if you block comments).

@crocve You people speak of the evil US imperialism, but you totally ignore the fact that the USSR was also imperialist.
East Germany 1953, Hungary 1957, Cuba 1962, Checkoslovakia 1968, Afghanistan 1979. Ring any bell?
The US is imperialist (that is a fact), but it´s a democracy and you can critize them easily. Does that happen in soviet-style socialist countries? Can you criticize your leaders, the party and the system? I don´t think so.

@crocve Next; actually many communists, including me, saw the post WW2 USSR as an imperialist country of sorts. Hence, you know, the whole sino-soviet split.
Next; CoD is a shit game, but thats my opinion, and un-politically, some people like it, some people don't. First and foremost, its a boring, cliched, up its own arse game. Secondly, the story is a massive flag wave for america, and anti-everywhere-else. So i don't like it. Argue about politics all you want, but not about CoD.

@crocve actually it isn't strange that the game existed before these events. It just emphasises how all imperialist scnerios are the same. Because its happened time and time before.
Next; no thats not what the end says. It says foreign powers should not fuck with the lives of other people. In killzone, the helghast are cunts - but so are the "good guys". In libya, personally i think gadaffi is a cunt, but NATO and US imperialism's cuntishness trumps gadaffi's.

@ScottishSocialist1 Nato actually acted well. They waited for the UN resolution and did not used ground forces.
And all the lies that Ghaddafi trolls on the internet have been throwing, like NATO was responsible for many deaths is nonsense.
And another thing: do you think that the message in killzone is the same in the warhammer 40000 series?
crocve 6 months ago
@crocve No offence, but I laughed a little at this. They waited for a "resolution", because can you imagine how they would look going into ANOTHER illegal war. Wait for a resolution, and they don't look as bad do they?
NATO was responsible for deaths. Numbers? I don't know, but plenty. No body, except NATO commanders, can deny it (but even they admitted it)
Haven't played warhammer 40000, so don't know.
