A playthrough of the game Darius Twin for the SNES split into 3 parts. I took the planets in the following order: A-C-D-F-H-K-L. (Part 3 of 3).

There's a good chance that some will dislike method I use in dealing with Planet Darius (L), I took it this way because it's considered ludicrously difficult (rightfully so) and to show a different strategy which makes it a bit easier.

The video was recorded on an actual SNES console with a VCR.

  • lol, really crazy strategy at planet L, but really cool though. Remember me dying of those crab-things shooting rings at me. Was really frustrating :P

  • Kamil you are really good in this game. However you did not show the ending, which is somewhat disappointing.

  • Why not use the Sonic weapon? It has better penetration. I believe you get it in the red cloud world or the under water one.

  • Some might call it wasteful to equip a spaceship with four non-homing missiles that go diagonally.

  • I remember that when the SNES premiered that the launch games were Super Mario World and a shit load of shooters that were actually kinda good. Oh and F Zero.

  • Hyper Greatthing really "whales" on you. *ba-dum-chhh*

  • Planet Darius:

After that great show of skill through the gameplay I see THIS ON THE LAST LEVEL?!?!

    Classic.

    5/5.

  • Planet Darius: After such great skill shown and I see THIS ON THE LAST LEVEL?!

    Classic.

  • I love this game, and the soundtrack for the boss on stage K

Well, i havent seen any vid yet about someone doing the last stage without that strategy lol

  • Yeah you can do that cheesy hide at the top of the screen trick in the first level too. This game was pretty impressive for the time on SNES with its minimal slowdown, but the designers left some really lazy flaws in the game.
