If you had played it as the wife being seductive and out to collect life insurance it might have worked a littlbe better or even if you just had the wife be a little bit seductive I think it might have worked better.

I think it would have been better if the wife was seductive and the movie went longer unless this was for a class or contest and it had to be only so many minutes long. You could have wrote it this way. Maybe she doesn't want the divorce maybe she wants to get him to kill himself. If you played it that way it might have worked better.

The premise of this is lacking logic... how can she claim to be "doing what's best for us both" by putting up a noose for him to kill himself? I think the idea of the noose not being for her, but instead for him was like a gimmic to this short that needed justifying and there was no good justification for it, because real people don't do that. So I found the whole reason for the movie to be kinda fake. The dialog was poorly written, though I always enjoy BSC's acting.
