  • Amazing tone there. I received my Engl Fireball 60w and according to what I've heard it's basically less processed than the Powerball (due to a more straight up german circuitry). Of course you can dial just about anything on the Powerball with the insane amount of features you have there so it's all about taste. Thumbs up for the videos either way.

    PS: Are you from UG?!

  • @leon787 Yes from UG and SS.org. I wish the camera mic was better than what it is!

  • @maximusarcher have you played the powerball yet? If not. Do it and you'll understand.

If you have.. my factor was the pure versatility.. and how well it did everything I wanted. The mark V is awesome! But I felt as if the pb was much more suited to my desires. Pure power.. no need for anything in front of it.. and can switch to the best clean I've ever heard in a fly.

  • @djbkrabi a 2 channel is pretty nice. Like I said, they have more of an organic feel.. I love that about mesa. Engl is super processed.. but I like that feel sometimes too. Good for that common djent stuff going around lately. Its all about what the player is looking for.. some want a studio magic processed amp like this. Other wants a warmer more articulate feel like the mesa.. others love the raw buzz saw of 6505/5150.. all do the same job in different ways.

  • @grrrantcore once again my friend, like previously stated. Show me your video of "extreme" playing capabilities. On the contrary to what you may think, not once did I boast on my playing ability.. nor do I indicate any sense of arrogance... but! If you think so.. that's cool :p.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Its just the fact that yours doesn't matter because all you do is troll. Bahaha.

  • @grrrantcore you are absolutely right! That's why I keep my red squire strat with 5 strings on it and play through my crate omegacardboard 57 watt solid state!

I wish I knew how to play an instrument even bass! Thanks for the quick jump of a gun! Show me a video of extreme guitar playing please oh pleasseeeee :D

  • @Venzetti6 Hey dude I was thinking to get an engl head soon so out of all the ENGL's which is the best for Extreme bone crushing distortion And djent while still having nice punk rock classic rock tones and a good clean

  • YOU SUCK!!!

  • Sounds great even at low volumes and that's through a Marshall cab...Imagine a Mesa or ENGL cab, it would sound nothing short of awesome...I have the Savage and thinking of buying the new PB II.

  • who needs engl, when you can have marshall????

  • what is the differences between Randall and Engl

  • boosting amps like powerball, 6505, dual recto, triamp is just like fighting this bieber cult. Needless and/or pointless. Nuff said, if you can't set up your sound on such amp you suck at guitar or you just can't. This amp shows its best on higher volume but anyway cool review mate. Abbath from immortal uses this one, I would like to hear someone playing solarfall on this beast (:

  • @GrrrANTcore well said bro, valid points all 'round :D

  • @justenbeashel but i don't really need to because the amp can handle things itself if you get me? :)

p.s adam d is nothing short of a god!

thank you for actually bringing something logical for an argument, most people would whine and bitch telling me I am wrong without so much as an example.

either way my point is merely my opinion and I think this guy has no clue and does no justice to metal. untill his production is as good as that Killerbuckeye guy.... I will think he is a noob

  • @justenbeashel Sir, You did not understand what i meant, "it does not need anything in front of it" this however does, it is murky, unclear and way to mid range... it sounds like a bucket of springs. a great guitar player can make any gear sound good, but if you cant make an amp like this sound good, either it is horrific or the guitarist is in question. I myself have a H&K Warp X... not the greatest amp in the world but its pretty darn clear.... :) and thats what I meant, I can tighten up

  • @GrrrANTcore "any semi decent amp does not need anything in front of it..." what a bullshit statement...Just as an example Adam D from Killswitch engage has been known to use some of the best amp heads around...boogies, h&k triamps, splawns, peaveys etc. And he swears by (or at least use to) a maxon od808. maybe he uses the od9pro+ now considereing he helped develop it (sort of) but yeah, getting back to my point, having an overdrive pedal in front of your amp can really tighten things up! :D
