  • @jcoverload I think it's to prevent electrocution.

  • @clix101 I suppose night vision could mean either, but there are two very different technologies in use. The most common are the traditional night vision goggles that greatly amplify small amounts of VISIBLE light. These are green because the human eye most sensitive to green. This video is infrared. I read about the US military wanting a hybrid device that could use both methods at once, but I haven't heard about anything recently.

  • yep, looks just exactly the same as the daytime rescue efforts. but in black and white. DUM DUM DUM

  • @Ashley4117 too much COD mate

  • @Ashley4117 And infrared doesn't have to be green, green is used because it has the more usable shades than other colours, so more useful :)

  • @Ashley4117 Night vision is infrared. Different cameras will pick up different spectrums of the infrared, either picking up small amounts of light in low light or picking up the heat from bodies in near to no light. What do you think night vision is?

  • @Ashley4117 Read the description.

  • This is not night vision
