Calzaghe may believe that hes going to be getting out of the sport with his pristine image intact, and maybe so for boxing fans that have little clue about what goes on in the sport, but for more knowledgeable fans and writers, Calzaghe will be tarnished by him not having fought Pavlik,dawson, and giving kess and hopkins rematches NO1 CHERRY PICKER COWARD --- JOE SLAPPY

Q.) Why did Joe Calzaghe finish 46-0 but Sven Ottke only manage to finish 34-0?

He IS already a legend. Don't hate. Just appreciate the greatness that IS Joe Calzaghe. Vicious handspeed, great recovery rate, and a unorthadox style that had Bernard Hopkins looking old,slow,and stupid. Not to mention the smackdown that he laid on Roy Jones Jr. (who by the way looked fast as hell against Lacy) Joe had the ability that few men had in any sport. Joe Montana had it in American football, Gretzky in hockey. The ability to TAKE OVER the game and impose HIS will.

i agree. there was no clear fight that he should have taken to carry on.
sure dawson is good but he doesnt stand out as a must fight opponenet for calzaghe at this stage
