As you can see from the video I added, 3 years later, the contractors hired by the council for their 'decent homes' project (in this case Kier) hasn't improved much.

The lack of hot water, which has been like that for weeks, is one of the many problems my parents now have with their flat (which was actually perfectly fine before the council sent their cowboys in).

They've also ruined nearly every wall in the flat, now entire place now needs to be re-decorated (which they wont pay for).

no you are not sad for putting this on- as a housing association tenant myself I know exactly where you are coming from- we pay a lot f rent and consistently have to put up with it- do you know why? because all the rent moey goes on managers, secretaries, producing glossy leaflets and magazines and NEVER goes back into properties- complain and if they dont fix it- ake it to the ombadsman- about time housing ass. tenants got a better deal

I live outside of London, but I have the same problem with the cupboards. I expect many of us do, because those cheapo units seem to be the standard wherever you are. I'm disgusted with the way my home looks like now. I've spent a lot of time and money making the place look nice and they've just ripped it all apart and replaced it with cheap crap. And who the hell can you complain to?
