Dennis M. Bullock was born in Philadelphia. At the age of 17 he won the United States National Jazz Championship for the reading and improvisation of jazz music. At 18 he auditioned for a world tour with the great Stylistics, they told him he would be required to play the flute and so he learned how to play the instrument in just 3 days. He played saxophone and flute and traveled around the world with them for two years. Upon his return to America with the Stylistics they were singed up to do several television appearances and to perform on the famous „The Tonight Show in Florida.

Feeling the time had come to do his own thing. He formed his own band and called it „Black Diamonds. He moved to Montreal, Canada with the group to perform in clubs where they went on to win an award for best singing group in Canada. There was another band touring Canada at the time: Kikky Foxx from New York. When they heard him sing they asked him to join their band. So he returned to America and toured with the Kikky Foxx band.
It was at this time that he got to know Prince on his Love Sexy world tour and consequently he joined Princes sister Tyka Nelsons group.
After re-forming his band „Black Diamonds they went on tour in Singapore for 6 months, then on to Japan for 3 months. He travelled to Morocco where he performed an sang fort he King of Morocco and the Royal Family and where he made TV appearances on such programs as Black Box TV. Dennis then joined up with Kool and the Gang, who were also touring Morocco at the time.
The decision to go solo in his career came shortly afterwards and he traveled to Paris to record his first record „Whats The Price Of Love. He recorded another in Switzerland called „A Time For Love. The song is on the album „Family Works and is now available in record stores.

Between 2003 and the present day, he has been performing with his group „Black Diamonds at the world famous Montreux Jazz Festival and other renowned European venues.Dennis M.
