  • @Mulkurul808 OK..THANKS...oops...xyzllii here ..same person as poemsapennyeach...ciao...

  • @Poemsapennyeach Nanji's ("Charile's") wife appears in the film, as herself, IIRC.

  • ...the central theme of the film being fictional climate change anomalies, and the re-discovery of my experience of this incomparable film happening at the time of unprecedented climate change catastrophies of the 2011 new year's Queensland river floodings quickly followed by the category 5+ typhoon (300kph/187mph winds) landfall on Feb 1st 2011....

  • Aloha from Hawaii! This film changed my life forever when I was 8 years old. I just discovered this video a few days ago, a brilliant revealing introspective from the creative genius behind this epic collaboration of diverse talents, perceived through a lens of my life experience dating back over 30 years! Mahalo nui loa (many thanks) for sharing this with the world. "The past is like a foreign country, they do things quite differently there..." "...an unbroken continuity from 50k years ago..."

  • great. Better no words.

  • I'd be interested in Aborigine women also...where are they please in this story ??

  • Excellent commentary, revisiting a movie that is about due for re-discovery (especially thanks to the recent release of the dream-oriented blockbuster, "Inception"). "The Last Wave" is early Weir but still a well-crafted, understated movie, with more of a reliance on story and characterization than overblown special effects.

  • This was really fascinating. It's an excellent film.

  • Excellent stuff - thank you for uploading!
