My Grandfather Paul Molchanoff was also an original member. Settled in Australia in the 1930's and died in 1973.

I know what they thought of chaos, war, revolution, and the people that cause them. Hidden by the title Imperial Russia, for a while, there flourished a very genuinely Democratic political system. Everything was voted on and an Ataman could be removed by popular vote. No room to go into details. Check academic texts.
