(Slideshow 1 of 3) I (Corolla Fleeger) assisted with animal rescue and response after Hurricane Katrina for 9 months. I have several slideshows that I created from the images my fellow rescuers and I took during that time. There are 3 videos. Please be advised that I did not censor these and some of the content may be graphic.

I hope thing like that will never happen again, those poor animals suffer so much, I wish I can hug them all. Please take the best care of your pets. I'm sure so many of those dogs and cats' owners want so much to take them but they couldn't some becaue they weren't allow to do it. Just make me cry. I hope many of them get to go back to their owners or have a new loving homes. Thank you so much to all the people that rescue those poor babies.

The cat at 7:25 looked like my cat who went missing almost a year ago :(
This is hard to watch. I couldn't imagine being the one standing there with a camera, taking pictures. I would have been in tears the whole time.
