@jiajie0 yes thats basically the story except one of the girls actually maintained that one of the pictures was genuine and that there were really faeries in the beck in cottingley.....

@purplemint11 no but there are 2 girls that took pictures of paper cut outs of fairies and photograph it with them claiming it's real, but they confessed it when they are old and this is how this movie was adapted

Only a stupid American trailer would swap the good, old fashioned 'box your ears' threat with 'kick your butt'. I mean, come on, how many 12 year old girls from war-era Yorkshire would have used that phrase?! Pfft. I miss this film though, it was my childhood
