I am never going to buy a machine that costs Non-Americans more to buy just because we don't live in the U.S.

The Australian Dollar is worth more then the US Dollar, yet somehow Apple products cost between 10-20% more to buy here. Same thing happens in other countries as well.

@TemporalParadox1 Ok. I found the Setup14.exe for installing the NewBlueFX Cartoonr plugin. It works for all kinds of video editors. Looks like I am all set for now.

@TemporalParadox1 NewBlueFX installed fine. I'm missing the CartoonR Plus plugin and its video though. It is the 14th plugin listed in the NewBlueVegasMSPPS.chm file. The NewBlueVegasMSPPS.chm file ended up with the wrong path. But was easy to fix.

Have you installed the NewBlueFx bundle yet ?

It will have to be activated to.

To activate, open Vegas up and put a video on the timeline.

Go to Video Fx tab and drag any NewBlueFx onto video - activation window will now open up.

If you have any problems with bonus material - type "bonus" into the search box on my channel and watch old video.

@TemporalParadox1 Yey! SONY's server let me get new authentication codes. I guess I had to wait a bit for my account to reset before attempting again. So all my programs are running now.

@TemporalParadox1 I have a hard copy. I was able to register Sound Forge Audio Studio 10 using the website registration form just now. I was emailed an authentication code for it, so now that program is running. But the other two programs won't take the serial numbers I used before to register and activate them with. Uninstalling them and rebooting re-installing didn't work. The software will only let me register, but they are already registered. I hope SONY contacts me.

There is a separate Serial Number for each program - just like every other program on Earth - nothing unusual there.

If you bought a hard copy you should have a card with ALL the numbers on it. Including some for NewBlue.

There is an easy way to fix this !

Un-install - re-boot - then re-install fresh.

Go slowly.

And now both Vega Movie Studio HD and DVD Architect are asking for serial numbers. So I need three new serial numbers before I can even use this program. This is the first time I delt with SONY ever. Never owned anything from them before. Maybe I had a SONY Walkman 30 years ago. I hope I get an email back from them.
