@goatpunch One small correction to the pinyin in my typed examples; 不 bù should switch to tone 2 bú before a tone 4, as Mike does in the lesson, so all should be 不 bú in these examples:
不是 bú shì No (Am not)
不要 bú yào No (Don't Want)
不会 bú huì No (Can't)

Interesting Chinese lesson! I'm Chinese from Taiwan and I can see your passion for teaching our language. Keep doing this good job!

These lessons are REALLY helping me Mike, thank you. Quick question, What do you suggest to help with listening comprehension, whenever I listen to people speak chinese at a normal speed I get lost like nobodys business and just cant seem to pick up enough. How can I improve my listening? Thanks for your hard work
In Taiwan, we usually say 早安(Zǎoān)instead of 早上好.

@osshauwa Yes, I know. Thank you. I'm trying to stick to the terms that the majority of Chinese speakers use. I lived in Danshui, Taiwan, for a long time.
