Something about the song structures on this album reminds me of the Beach Boys record Pet Sounds. Brian Wilson called that album "A teenage symphony". I think "Is This Real?" is a teenage symphony as well. A punk rock teenage symphony.

@Alphabex8 because of the Internet. I live in Spain. Even in the 90s it was almost impossible to buy records that weren't mainstream. Cool and rich guys could bring them from UK or paying expensive shippin fees, some obscure shops would sold them, but if you were not living in a big city you were fucked.

Rock music hasn't moved on at all since the early 90s. People like this cus it was a massive influence on 90s bands. Everyone looks back in time for music cus there is nothing worth listening to nowadays. Excellent band by the way
