i remember going to my first GP in 2003 and realizing how insane the backfires and traction control sound on these cars, and this is one of the very few F1 videos that do them justice imo.

@dave00075f1 Fucking does have things to do with the aero package. They still need to grip the road, how else would they achieve those fast cornering speeds. Anyway, it's not really the cornering that they were worried about, it was at the end of the straight when they were going 210+ MPH, when the cars were at a massive velocity. If the car were to fail braking, shit would fly and the driver would die. No-one could withstand those Gs.
