A stupid sport, performed by stupid thick people who have no concept of what they are smashing up,these cars may be beyond repair for the road but still provide vital spares and panels for people restoring these cars for future generations!!

@1RadNomad old cars are better then people so that is like saying that it is ok to go and shoot starving people because they will die anyway.
and that bentley was one of 5 remaining in the world of its kind.

Hundreds of old cars are scrapped daily and it's going to happen whether you like it or not, so what's wrong with having a bit of harmless fun with an old rot box before it dies? You could be a bit more realistic i reckon.

Thats right Spike. What I heard was it was a Land Rover chassis and the bodyworks of whatever Bentley as someone had bought the genuine Bentley chassis for spares or restoration.
What I don't understand is the practice of follow-ins. If some bugger had kissed the wall and has been stopped then why not go for someone who is still moving.
It is surely a matter of time before there's a serious fold-up, driver gets mashed & the H&S brigade hits the sport like a ton o bricks.
