"Comments dilute your keyword density on your page" - Well that's technically true, but pretty much TOTALLY irrelevant, since keyword density hasn't affected ranking for... maybe over 3 years now?
I think Mary needs to attend a couple of Web 2.0 and social networking seminars, and then comment here and correct her errors. All the attendees of the conference here were left with totally WRONG advice, to "not participate" and comment on other blogs. Unreal...

I'm looking forward to seeing her follow up video with her apology for spreading incorrect information about comments on Marketing Pilgrim. Comments are allowed, welcomed, and actually add to our SEO efforts.

Okay, the comments were removed from Seth Godin's site because of the difficulty in managing them. Andy BEAL does allow comments on Marketing Pilgrim.
Comments are good, they provide additional UGC to help rank. Furthermore anyone that talks about keyword density in 2008... sheesh...
