clarification, the 1 mil estimate includes the people who died in the 90's due to our lack of physical intervention and starvation from the economic sanctions.

@hegadem, yes we enjoy going door to door killing whole families wantonly. However then did we end up with such a low number of dead civilians in Iraq? I'd think if we actually did that, with all of our technology we could do better than even the wildest estimates, (1 million). After all we have so much technology how could anyone escape?

Or maybe, we're a professional fighting force that attempts to distinguish it's targets unlike certain organizations actively targeting civilians.
