After this was shown...on Thanksgiving Day..from(1961 to 1970)Ch.11 would air "The Thanksgiving Day Jamboree"kids tv specials hosted by Ms.Carol Corbett,"Officer"/"Police Chief Joe"Bolton and"Capt.Jack"McCarthy.

@redsuxh8r hell yeah. Yule log... parades... those Christmas messages from the management of channel 9. Even the leadup to the holiday season w/ Kong and Godzilla on the Thanksgiving week. Best ever.

i didn't notice until now that the opening here was different. rare indeed. the dvd release has the opening that has been shown on wpix for the last few years. i checked them yesterday. great post.

That is not the original opening title credits..
those are one of the reissue titles from
Federal Films Inc.

I dont know anything about the opening credits of the movie. I was mainly posting the opening of the movie with the "holiday special" music from channel 11 in nyc as it was aired on Christmas day in 1985.
