Larawilder, how plantfish has reacted is as I have reacted. When I read your commentary on Laurie I had to stop whatever I was doing to commend you. Your descriptors warmth and inclusion are indeed prominent characteristics of Laure that haven't been pointed out to us until you revealed them to us.

@larawilder my god you put that so well. i've been listening to her for years and have seen her in concert twice, and what you said is exactly right. but i couldn't have said it in a way that hit the nail on the head like you did. the warmth and inclusion of her audience while stimulating the mind at the same time. true artistry in that

Proof you can make avant garde ideas work in a mainstream setting with humour and gravitas without a hintof elitism or snobbery. What always strikes me first about Anderson is her warmth, she's about inclusion and sharing of ideas.
