I'm all for protecting the environment and responding to climate change / global warming, but simply shutting down coal plants isn't very realistic. I think grandfather clauses should be done away with and that all coal plants should be forced to upgrade to gassification technology in conjunction with CO2 capture technology.
All or nothing is almost never the solution. Though...if we wait long enough to act, we may be left with just that sort of scenario...or worse.

"Leadership not Politics"?!!!

THe elite love it when we hit the streets to "campaingn" for what they want to give us anyway: draconian measures to curb our freedom - carbon credits etc.
In england democratic processes are giving up their power to campainging mobs, given lots of cash as long as they campaing for what the elite wants. THis is intimidating for other people, such as climate change sceptics.

there is a big change in opinions caused by the awkward "hack of truuths!!1 in THE climate-institute...and ultra-sensible informations..." lol
Alex jones, his truther-idiots, the selfish rightwingers- and above all the exxon mobile company praying everywhere "now its out - climate change is complete hoax.."
And most of the people belief that. (!)
they are soooo obvious hardcore idiots, but they are sucsessful. Its horrible.

Exactly how do you conclude that we are morons?!? How seriously can your comment be taken when you don't even make a supporting argument. How intelligent does that make you??
incredible video. how is it possible that our leaders are still listening to coal company executives when this movement is growing? obama, congress - if you're out there - remember that these are the people who elected you. coal industry dollars won't keep you in power forever.
