How to Introduce Pet Rats Together...

Please Read:

I hope this video helps you if you are trying to or considering introducing rats.
Please follow the steps carefully!
Not all introductions will be successful, so please be prepared for this.
I have other tips that are not included in the video so if you would like anymore hints and tips on how to introduce them please ask me.

I have done 5 introductions so far and only one has been unsuccessful.

All the rats I've gotten (got them all as babies) I've gone out of the way to introduce them but now I just throw them on the table together with a few boxes. The baby rats are always nervous and nippy with me until they meet the other rats, in which case they instantly start ]playing with each other. The adult rats are always alright with them. Usually one adult starts mothering (grooming and carrying it around) the new rat and the others almost completely ignore it and carry on exploring.

I have a question I have a year old male rat and today we got a 3 month old baby rat should we take the same steps? We have the baby and adult in sperate cages,but they are next to each other we did the introduction a little too soon,but they seemed fine until wemput them both in the same cage so we just took the baby out andnput him an another cage...but I would lke to know if I shou,d wait till the baby gets a bit bigfer or will ot be fine?
