Once again- water vapor contributes around 35-65% of the TOTAL GREENHOUSE EFFECT, however, CO2 contributes to OVER 80% OF THE INITIAL FORCING. Water vapor increases have been a FEEDBACK EFFECT of anthropogenic/rising CO2/temps.

Now as far as PAST correlation between warming and CO2, this is ALSO PROVEN. Now... the CO2 wasn't necessarily the CATALYST in the past, but rises in temps causes rises in CO2 which caused further rises in temps, this is called POSITIVE FEEDBACK, whereby an initial forcing causes a positive chain of events that AMPLIFIES the original warming. As for CO2 and temp rises being mere correlation?? Once again you exhibit a vast ignorance of the science behind climatology/atmospheric physics. CO2 is PROVEN to be central to the greenhouse effect on Earth, CO2 has PROVEN to have increased drastically over the last century, that rise in CO2 is PROVEN to have DIRECT ISOTOPIC LINKS to human emissions (they can identify human origins via carbon isotopes), the amount of CO2 is PROVEN to be enough to raise temps as much as we've seen.

*sigh*... What I've stated over and over again is that climate/temperature changes IN THE PAST were NOT Anthropogenic, however, the vast majority of our CURRENT WARMING is Anthropogenic. Also, the only logical fallacy is YOURS, deniers make this childish assumption that, since global warming wasn't man-made in the past, therefore it magically can never be man-made... but there's NOTHING that magically PREVENTS US from altering the climate, and that's EXACTLY what we've done.

@IngeniousEpithet You're right, but that's also a logical fallacy of correlation proving causation. Come on, it's a simple "cum hoc ergo propter hoc" informal logical fallacy. For example, the saying "A occurs in correlation with B. Therefore, A causes B" is false.

Plus, I thought you said earlier that global warming was "man-made." Now you're saying that it is a natural cycle? Make up your mind.

And don't make fallacious claims.
