Sarah Palin RNC Speech on September 3rd 2008

This is Sarah Palins speech given at the RNC. You can clearly see her look over to the left and read a scrolling, holographic, one-sided, wall of text.(Which glares off her glasses). She knows how to read a teleprompter. Does this qualify her to be our vice president? In my opinion, Absolutely not.
I know ALL of the candidates, Obama included, use a teleprompter. But reading the teleprompter is ALL she is qualified to do.

  • Sean Hannity making a big deal about Obama using a teleprompter is so dumb, childish & bitchy because: 1) Hannity uses a teleprompter on his show EVERY NIGHT. 2) At least Obama uses the teleprompter well, unlike Sarah Palin who has to write her notes on HER HAND or unlike Michelle bachmann who reads her teleprompter & forgets about her eye line while on camera 3) All politicians (Republicans & Democrats) use teleprompters 4) Obama doesn't screw up the English language unlike Sarah Palin.

  • Palin's teleprompter failed at the Rep. Nat'' Convention and she did not miss a beat. Obama becomes incoherent when he doesn't have one.

  • @VinceP1974 You've missed the entire point. Palin was highly critical of the candidate-President for using the tool that she has also used. And by the way, notes written on your hand are just a low tech version. The President has given speeches without a teleprompter too. So, why did she make such a bid deal about something so trivial & hypocritical. The point of a teleprompter is to remind the speaker, help them stay on track, not miss key points, and prevent rambling. It's just a tool.

  • I skimmed most of the comments here and NOT ONE PERSON mentioned that half way through this speech, the teleprompter went off track and she had to stop using it for the rest of the speech. That's right.. half of this speech was given with no teleprompter (I dont remember if she had notes or not)

  • What's the point of this video? Everyone uses teleprompters.

  • I've noticed that people always write such long comments below any political or religious videos. This bugs me, because I usually like to check out the comments, but the problem is, I am on you tube, I only want to read them if they are a couple of lines long. People should really keep their messages short if they expect anyone to read them. I know I don't even bother if they are more than a sentence or two. Furthermore sarah palin is a bimbo. Anyway, here is my comment:Don't they all use those?

  • @greggymcgurks I'd be happy if people needed to take a basic intelligence test to vote, then Obama would lose 90% of his base. Being a great orator is no big deal Hitler was a great orator. Palin has intelligence and experience behind her, Obama is an empty suit who thinks his "winning personality" will solve all problems. His administration has been both a disaster and complete joke. His supporters STILL can't say what is "great" about him other than teleprompter reading.

  • @Srd1126 LOL! Now that you can't defend the fact that Sarah Palin is a complete hypocrite you turn around and try to defend HER use of a teleprompter by, like a child, saying WAHHHHHH Palin uses a teleprompter better then President Obama does. Well we both know that's not true considering that Obama's thing has been being a great orator. It's people like you that make me believe that to vote people need to take some sort of basic knowledge or intelligence test.

  • If she runs for president, I will vote for her!
