Inspired by BTTFParts upgrade video, I decided I was tired of the lack of logos on the Diamond model. So I took matters into my own hands and gave it the DMC stamp of approval. An you can do it too! It only takes a paintbrush, white paint, and a steady hand.

  • Thanks for the comments guys!

@JDavies345 The DMC reopened in Texas and Florida, and I think they own the name and logos now, but I might be wrong about that.

  • what a great model, you have a very steady hand fella. the logos look great.

  • try and do the logo on the wheels lol

  • A little tip for you, the way I added the DMC logo to mine was I found a high resolution pic of the grill online, cropped it isolating the logo, shrunk it way down using my paint program, printed it out as small as I could, cut it out and glued it to the front of the model and it came out amazing. Great review BTW.

  • @speederice, yep they did, god knows if they didnt want so much for the DMC12, I would be driving one right now brand new with warranty. But $60,000 for a car from the 80`s with warranty is kind of over priced. I think I will just stick with finding a cheapie in good shape used and then redo it myself and have DMC order me the english built stage II engine to drop in it.

  • hey dude, Delorean is out of business since 1984, the patent is actually free so noone can sue ya XD

  • Hi Speederice.

If your wanting to upgrade your DeLorean, you might want to try StickerFixer(dot)com. They sell a full sheet for decals for all over the car, and are nicely printed and accurate to the ones on the original cars. I have two, and am very happy with them. :)

  • No man we won't slam you because nobody else can do any better without using stencils. You did great,

  • what is the biggest model delorean and 1:18 or 1:24 and where can i get one?

  • I'm just kidding mate. :)

I know that, I just havent talked to you in a while! lol.
